[With Rocket Training done and over with, it's time for Rude to start his own journey. He's a bit tired of the Goldenrod BGM and admittedly slightly curious about what else is in store for him out there in the Pokemon world. But most importantly, he's looking for adventure and action, and hanging around in one town isn't going to cut it.

Picking a destination wasn't hard; just start where everyone else was starting. Easier prey and he doesn't have to fudge any more details about the place to everyone who's been asking about his journey.
]

I'm going to New Bark Town. Anyone interested?

What are some good Pokemon to capture?

For Battling purposes.

DON'T GET SMART WITH ME.
EVERYONE KNOWS THAT MAGIKARP HAPPENS TO BE ONE OF THE FEW THAT YOU JUST WANT TO SMASH YOUR HEAD AGAINST A HARD SURFACE AGAINST WHILE RAISING.
GYARADOS ISN'T HALF BAD WHEN YOU FINALLY EVOLVE MAGIKARP, THOUGH.
YOU JUST HAVE TO NOT PIT IT AGAINST AN ELECTRIC TYPE.
FLYING AND WATER? YEAH, THAT'S NOT THE BEST TYPE COMBINATION THERE.

To make it seem as if you didn't arrive in Goldenrod. Smart.

Do tell me if there's anything of particular interest out there; I've personally never been.

Although I do have to question the reason - simply time for a change of scenery, or is there something drawing you out that way?

IT WASN'T ANY HARDER THAN LIVING WITH MY LUSUS.
THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT NICK CAN FLY.
I KNOW THAT SOME IDIOTS HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THEM AS THEY CAN BE TENACIOUS FUCKERS RIGHT FROM THE GET GO.
TEACH THEM WHO'S BOSS AND ESTABLISH DOMINANCE.
THAT'S WHAT I SAY.
HUMANS ARE *WAY* TOO SOFT WHEN IT COMES TO SOMETHING WHOSE INSTINCT IT IS TO GNAW YOUR FACE OFF FIRST.

It's not difficult to figure out.

Planning on snatching some Pokemon from the new arrivals?

I'm willing to give you the second point, though I believe the higher-ups would prefer higher-leveled Pokemon.

As for the first point, again, I doubt there is much to see. You would be better off beginning in a larger town such as Violet.

That depends on what you're looking for! Stylistically speaking, of course. It also depends on if you're looking for a specific type of Pokemon. Do you have any preferences?

Oh, I'm well aware that they are.

Don't misunderstand me, this isn't a reprimand. It's more personal curiosity than anything; you certainly don't need my permission to go anywhere.

Those are excellent choices. I don't have a Gible myself, but I do have a Starly and they're excellent Pokemon. Dragon types like Gible also have a reputation for being very tough. I think Gible is a dual type? Dragon and Ground, right?
