Been a little quiet lately. I'm up for some missions if anyone needs me.

Anyone for a game at the bar tonight? Loser treats the winner to a drink. I'm at Goldenrod.

[And here he's come full cycle. It's been awhile since he's been back in Goldenrod but now that his business with Minoriko was over, it's time to kick back and enjoy a slow evening. Rude might be a creature of action but a bit of peace every now and then never hurt anyone. Plus, some times it's good to get out and mix with people. Reno would've accused him of turning into a recluse and honestly it wasn't healthy for him to spend so much time by himself.

Feel free to approach him for the aforementioned game in his text message. Rude's got a deck of cards that he's idly shuffling, but there's darts, checkers, and even pool to try and win that drink out of him.]

[A slight shrug; Rude acknowledges Reaver's point, but that's just who he is. And the less he speaks, the less he gives away.

The 7th cut card reveals a 1. Looks like their just having one coup.]

[Mm. That is unfortunate in some ways, not-so-unfortunate in others. It really just means that he'll have to make this one count.]

The game is mostly luck, you know; I wouldn't be too concerned about keeping your poker face intact.

[Reaver's comment actually breaks Rude's poker face; one raised eyebrow is the response that Reaver manages to provoke out of him. Honestly? He isn't even trying to keep up a poker face. This is really how he looks like 95% of the time.

But it's hard to explain that this is his default expression, so he shrugs and just carries on with the game.

It seems that luck's against him though. There's a slight twitch of an eyebrow, but otherwise there's no other visible display of emotion at his loss. Looks like he's buying.]

I would tell you to just pick the drink yourself as long as you're going to pay for it, my darling, but at this rate I'd be concerned about what you'd order - since I don't feel like pretending that I care about impressing people, just tell them to surprise me with the strongest thing they have.

[Reaver actually needn't be concerned. Rude's familiar enough with the range of alcohol here, having explored each and every one of them. It does grate slightly on Rude's nerves that Reaver's just made a jab about his knowledge of liquor, but he offers no outward sign of it. With a nod he steps up and heads to the bar, relaying the order for the strongest liquor in the house for Reaver. He's taking something less potent for the time being.

Drinks in hand, he heads back and passes the small shotglass of amber liquid to his card buddy.]
