Thanks to everyone who gave me advice. Christmas was great. I've got something for the guys who helped me out. Pass me an address and I'll courier it over. Thanks again.

((OOC: Anyone who dropped by to give Rude advice on his previous post here is getting a small bag of cookies. Looks like he really took Mayuri's advice.))

Action at Rocket HQ

[Rude is not often at Rocket HQ, but he'll be hanging around the base for the next week or so. It might have to do with the fact that every time he so much as twitches his right arm he makes a soft tch sound, an unwanted souvenir from his time at Ecrutrek City.

Rude can be found wandering around anywhere in Rocket HQ, from the gym to the labs to the rec room.

If found at the rec room he'll be seated at the table, a pack of cards in his hands. He's about to start a game of Solitaire but he honestly wouldn't mind a bit of company.

Otherwise, he'll just generally be observing and speaking with a few Rockets to catch up on what he's missed while he's been on his travels. It's been a few months since he's been here, after all.]

[It'd be much more effective to place it there personally. What if it got sent to the wrong place?]

That's good to hear. What did you end up buying?

I took a little of everyone's advice. Bought her a mixing kit and some alcohol. I also bought a portable oven, but that's for us. I asked if she'd like to spend the day doing some baking and cooking for a Christmas dinner. She liked the idea. We bought a spice rack together and some cooking materials, made dinner, had a few drinks, and then we went out and walked around before heading home.

Sounds both fun and tasty. Relaxing way to spend Christmas, too, if you were only cooking for two. Does she seem interested in doing it again next year, or even sooner?

She said she'd like to do it again. Didn't mention when but I think it's sooner.

That's great! And I'd bet it would make her happy if you kept in mind a recipe or two you want to try then. To show you were looking forward to it.

I could ask her about that. Just...I hope she's OK with all of this. I'm not being pushy, right?

As long as it's fine with you if she says no to something, you're not pushy. Just interested, and that's always appreciated.

It might not; that's always a risk. But if you,re both aiming for the same 'this', chances are it'll go fine.

She already has a boyfriend. I just want to be good friends with her, without complicating things.

[Denzel had heard what had happened over at Burned Tower in Ecrutrek City and he was less than pleased about that. The man stomps towards the lab with papers in between his hands.]
Stupid-two-bit Rockets!

[The man mumbles in anger to himself.]

How are we suppose to control Pokemon when we don't understand Pokemon to begin with?!

[However, that was Crocker's method of madness which is understanding first and then capturing like those Fairy Godparents. The man didn't just go after them, no he studied them for years first.]

[Well, this is awkward. Rude glances up from the reports he had been reading regarding the attack, before his eyes flick back down to continue on with his business.

You can't please everyone.]

[Crocker continues to be in own train of thoughts and may or may not accidently bump into Rude and mix up their papers.

If not Growlithe comes scampering down the hall as she does she is sniffing her way to Crocker and enjoys pets. Lots of pets behind the ear.]

[Rude finds it best to give people who complain about his methods a wide berth. He shifts to the side to avoid Crocker and probably would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for that meddling cute Growlithe that had suddenly taken into her head to amble up to Rude and prop her two front legs on his shins, begging for head pets.

Rude sighs and gives her a few. No harm done.]

[Denzel meanwhile is busy with his crazy in other words probably drawing on some blue-print paper not far from Rude.

Growlithe meanwhile, enjoys the petting, after all this guy looks lonely. She yelps as if asking if he'd like some company.]
