[With Rocket Training done and over with, it's time for Rude to start his own journey. He's a bit tired of the Goldenrod BGM and admittedly slightly curious about what else is in store for him out there in the Pokemon world. But most importantly, he's looking for adventure and action, and hanging around in one town isn't going to cut it.
Picking a destination wasn't hard; just start where everyone else was starting. Easier prey and he doesn't have to fudge any more details about the place to everyone who's been asking about his journey.]
I'm going to New Bark Town. Anyone interested?

What are some good Pokemon to capture?
For Battling purposes.

IT'S A COMBINATION OF THAT AND WRESTLING.

Thanks for the advice.

THANK YOU.
SHARING WHAT SCRAPS OF KNOWLEDGE I HAVE GLEANED IN MY TIME HERE IS A THING THAT I DO WHEN PEOPLE AREN'T BEING DIPSHITS.

What's there to do? Besides battles, breeding and catching them all?
[Because really if that's all there's left in this world for him, Team Rocket might be the place to stay. Everything else is too dull, too static, too mundane.]

YOU MAKE FUN FOR YOURSELF, I GUESS.
CLIMBING MOUNTAINS AND GOING THROUGH THEM SEEM TO BE FAVORITE PASTIMES HERE.
OH YEAH.
RUNNING OUT OF THE RAMPAGING PATH OF A GYARADOS WAS A PRETTY EXCITING MOMENT IN MY MONSTER JOURNEY.
I'VE BEEN WORKING TOWARDS OBTAIN ALL OF THE BADGES MYSELF.
TWO MORE AND I'LL HAVE BEATEN EVERY GYM LEADER.
I CONSIDER THAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT.
OF COURSE THE PLACE THROWS THINGS YOUR WAY EVERY NOW AND THEN - USUALLY AROUND SPECIFIC HUMAN HOLIDAYS.

[Not exactly his cuppa, but maybe he could go and do all those extreme nature sports, if they offer those centres here.
He like the bit about the rampaging Gyrados.]
How did it happen? The rampaging Gyrados?

THERE ARE ARCADES AND PLACES THAT ESSENTIALLY ARE MADE FOR GAMBLING THOUGH.
NOW THE STORY ABOUT THE GYARADOS...
DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE JUDGE ME FOR THIS STUNT.
I WILL NOT HESITATE TO HUNT YOU DOWN AND INTRODUCE YOU TO *EVERY* REASON WHY I HAVE COME OUT ON TOP IN EVERY BATTLE I HAVE ENCOUNTERED
HERE OR BACK "HOME."
MY DICK OF A BOYFRIEND, THOUGH HE WAS JUST SOME ASSHAT FRIEND AT THE TIME, THOUGHT I SHOULD LEARN HOW TO SWIM.
I WAS AGAINST THIS AS WHAT DISDAINFUL, MORONIC DOUCHEWAFFLE WOULD EVER WANT TO TEST THEIR LUCK BY FLOATING AROUND AIMLESSLY WHILE WHO KNOWS WHAT LURKED UNDER THE SURFACE!
MAYBE EARTH OR WHATEVER PLANET THE MAJORITY OF THE RACES HERE COME FROM DOESN'T HAVE MONSTER INFESTED WATERS, BUT WE DO
AND SWIMMING IS NOT HIGH ON THE LIST OF SURVIVAL PRIORITIES.
ANYWAY!
SO HERE WE ARE, RIGHT? VANTIAS WAS BEING A SHITWAGON AND FORCING ME TO CONTINUE THESE LESSONS.
WHAT WE DIDN'T KNOW WAS THAT THERE WAS AN INCREASED NUMBER OF MAGIKARP IN THE WATERS.
I GUESS THE GYARADOS DIDN'T MUCH LIKE THAT WE WERE BATTING AROUND ITS KIN AND FEELING RATHER TERRITORIAL.
THE FUCKER FLUNG A HYPER BEAM AT US WHILE WE WERE SCRAMBLING AROUND TO GET BACK ON THE ALTARIA.

Not bad.
[Rude's going to make battling around Gyrados as part of his bucket list now. It sounds dangerous and thrilling; just the sort of adventure he likes to have.]
Sounds like Gyradoses [Gyradoses? Gyrados? Gyradosi? Whatever the plural for Gyrados is.] have bad tempers.

I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THE LAKE OF RAGE FOR SWIMMING LESSONS.
SEEMS LIKE IT IS APTLY NAMED, CONSIDERING YEAH...
SOME BEASTS HAVE WICKED TEMPERS.
DEL, MY LUXRAY, IS PRETTY DAMN IRRITABLE.
I THINK THAT MIGHT BE THE SPECIES IN GENERAL.

I've got a Houndoor. They're supposed to be fierce guard dogs.
Mine just likes to sleep.
A lot.
Thinking of training him, but I'm not sure how. He doesn't look like he can handle it.

UNDER THE RIGHT CIRCUMSTANCES, ALEX IS PRETTY DAMN PROTECTIVE.
OTHERWISE? HE'S JUST A GIANT PUPPY THAT LIKES TO LICK PEOPLE AND CHASE HIS TAIL.
IF IT DOESN'T WORK OUT FOR YOUR LITTLE WOOFBEAST, THERE ARE OTHER OPTIONS.
OF COURSE THERE MIGHT BE A PERSONALITY SHIFT WHEN HE EVOLVES TOO.
no subject
Guess it's them maturing.
Thanks for all the advice.
[He checks the ID of the person: "Karkat Vantas"? Well on the list of strange names this one isn't too bad.]
