[With Rocket Training done and over with, it's time for Rude to start his own journey. He's a bit tired of the Goldenrod BGM and admittedly slightly curious about what else is in store for him out there in the Pokemon world. But most importantly, he's looking for adventure and action, and hanging around in one town isn't going to cut it.

Picking a destination wasn't hard; just start where everyone else was starting. Easier prey and he doesn't have to fudge any more details about the place to everyone who's been asking about his journey.]

I'm going to New Bark Town. Anyone interested?

What are some good Pokemon to capture?

For Battling purposes.

[He doesn't have a preference for any particular type, but definitely he'd be more interested in Pokemon of different types than his current roster. Steve's suggestions are checked out with the Pokedex; Garchomp and Staraptor in particular catch his attention. He doesn't have a flying type yet, and Garchomp looks like one powerful beast to beat. It would be an excellent addition to the team...

If you have the money, you can get eggs of most of the pre-evolutions at the Breeding Center. They have Scyther, Starly which is Staraptor's pre-evolution, Sneasel which is Weavile's, and Gible who is Garchomp's. The rest you'll have to look up what Routes they tend to be found in and try your luck catching them there.

There is. I hear they're bad news, steal Pokemon, best avoided, though I haven't dealt with them directly, so that's only what I've heard.

Are there particular safe areas? Any Rockets I should know off by name?

Sorry, I've not been involved in any of their doings since arriving. I haven't run into any who made it known they were Rocket, so by extension, I don't know any safe or unsafe areas either.

I'll stick to main roads then.

A little, but I've been here long enough to have heard weirder, and I know someone who's alter ego is named Hulk. I'm Steve, it's nice to informally meet you.

There's a few others with names that are "normal" like mine, but for the most part, the names around here are pretty strange.

You could say there are heroes. Not sure if they're super.

I wouldn't call the heroes from my world super either, but enough other people have that I'm falling into that terminology.

Well, saved the world, not sure if that's their type, but heroic none the less. [he's not down grading what they did, but none of them really hit him as that, not even himself]

How bad was it? Your world was dying?

Not world dying, but the potential to enslave and destroy a good portion of the planet.

It's hard for me to answer that, my circumstances are complicated, but this place is a good vacation from it all.

No way that they know of at least, but yeah, we have to make the best of it. Do you have anyone else from your world here? It made it easier to deal with.

It's still not the same though.

[They're not travelling together like Turks, for one thing. And its almost like they've all got their separate paths now.

It'll never be the same, but you'll get home one day. Hopefully it'll get better for you.
